Dhanush is an Indian actor, singer, lyricist, and producer who largely works in the Tamil cinema industry. His full name is Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja. On July 28, 1983, he was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, into a family with a long history in the entertainment business. Kasthuri Raja, a well-known Tamil film producer and director, is the father of Dhanush, and Selvaraghavan is a well-known filmmaker in the Tamil film business.
Film career:
In 2002, his father’s Tamil film “Thulluvadho Ilamai,” which was also his acting debut, was released. The movie was well-received by critics and highlighted Dhanush’s acting capabilities. His second movie, “Kaadhal” (2004), which was directed by Balaji Sakthivel, was what, nevertheless, really made him famous and successful. He received praise from critics and various honors for his portrayal of a young person from the lower middle class in the movie, including the National Film Award for Best Actor.
After making a name for himself, Dhanush went on to act in a number of profitable movies, including “Polladhavan” (2007), “Aadukalam” (2011), and “Velaiilla Pattadhari” (2014). His reputation as one of the top actors in Tamil cinema was strengthened by these films. On November 18, 2004, Dhanush wed Aishwarya, the eldest daughter of Rajinikanth. Yatra and Linga, their two kids, were born in 2006 and 2010, respectively. On January 17, 2022, the couple made their separation official.
