TheatreRamana is the writer and director of the 2004 Indian Tamil-language action movie Sulaan. In addition to Dhanush, the film stars Sindhu Tolani, Manivannan, Pasupathy, and Easwari Rao. It was made available on July 23, 2004. Though the film was a commercial disaster, it was remade in Telugu as Dhairyam (2005).
Subramani, who goes as Sulaan with his pals, is the son of Mani, who drives a garbage lorry for a corporation. As a first-year college student, his sole goal in life is to enjoy himself with his pals. He develops feelings for Kavya. Moneylender Soori pursues people who don’t pay him back despite charging exorbitant interest rates. Sullan retaliates when Soori’s actions begin to negatively impact his friends and family.
