TheatreThe 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film Thiruda Thirudi, which translates to “Male Thief and Female Thief,” was written and directed by Subramaniam Siva, a debutante.
In addition to Dhanush and Chaya Singh, who is making her Tamil film debut, there are supporting performances from Karunas, Manikka Vinayagam, and Krishna. It was successful when it was published on September 5, 2003. The movie was recreated as Sakha Sakhi in Kannada and as Donga Dongadi in Telugu.
Plot
Vasudevan is a careless and unreliable member of a middle-class family. Vijayalakshmi is from a conventional Telugu household and is a driven young woman focused on her work. After meeting up with Viji, one day he rides along on her two-wheeler. He bothers her so much that she doesn’t even notice the car up ahead. Despite his warnings, she ultimately has an accident.

In an effort to please his father, who is often scolding his recklessness, Vasu departs for Chennai. In the meantime, Viji moves into the same apartment building as Vasu after landing a job in Chennai.
The remainder of the narrative focuses on Vasu’s development, their connection, and whether or not their attitudes about one another have changed. Vasu makes Viji fall in love, but he pretends to despise her because she caused his entire family to split up. Thus, something occurs in the midst, and they both come to love one another. Vasu, too, reconciled with his family following a few detours.
