Story:

“Velaiilla Pattadhari 2” (VIP 2), the much-anticipated sequel to the 2014 hit film, stormed into theaters in 2017, promising a delightful blend of action and comedy for Tamil cinema enthusiasts. Directed by the talented Soundarya Rajnikanth, the film brought back the beloved characters from its predecessor, with Dhanush leading the pack alongside a stellar cast including Amala Paul, Vivek, Hrishikesh, Saranya Ponvannan, and Samuthirakani. However, the real surprise came with the addition of Bollywood diva Kajol, making her grand return to Tamil cinema after a hiatus of 20 years, since her last appearance in “Minsara Kanavu” in 1997.
