Story:

“Thiruchitrambalam” is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Mithran R. Jawahar and produced by Sun Pictures. The movie stars Dhanush in the lead role, with Nithya Menen, Bharathiraja, Prakash Raj, Raashii Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar in supporting roles.

The film was initially announced in December 2019 under the working title D44, signifying Dhanush’s 44th film as the lead actor. The official title was revealed in August 2021. Principal photography began the same month, primarily taking place in Chennai and Pondicherry, and concluded in early-October 2021. The movie features music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Om Prakash, and editing by Prasanna GK.

“Thiruchitrambalam” hit theaters on August 18, 2022, receiving positive reviews. Critics praised the performances of Dhanush, Nithya Menen, and Bharathiraja, as well as the music, cinematography, script, and direction.
