Story:

Vignesh Raja is the director of the upcoming Tamil drama film Kara. Dhanush, Mamitha Baiju, and Jayaram play the main parts in the movie, while Suraj Venjaramoodu, K.S. Ravikumar, Karunas, and Prithvi Pandiraj play important roles. Their performances are anticipated to drive the film’s compelling plot and anchor its emotional depth. G.V. Prakash Kumar wrote the music, and Theni Eashwar is in charge of the photography. Ishari K. Ganesh is producing the movie under the Vels Film International Ltd. banner.

On July 10, 2025, the formal pooja ceremony for Kara took place in Chennai, signaling the start of main photography for Dhanush and director Vignesh Raja’s next big project. On April 30, 2026, Kara is slated to be released in theaters.
