TheatreIdly Kadai is an upcoming Tamil-language drama film from India, written, directed, and co-produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films in collaboration with the newly established Dawn Pictures. The film features Dhanush in the lead role, alongside Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, and Rajkiran.
The project was officially announced in September 2024 under the working titles D52 and DD4, marking Dhanush’s 52nd film as an actor and his fourth as a director. The official title was revealed shortly afterward, and principal photography commenced within the same month. The film’s music is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Kiran Koushik and editing by Prasanna GK.
Idly Kadai is set for a worldwide theatrical release on 10 April 2025.
