Biography:

Banerjee, an Indian actor who predominantly performs in Telugu cinema, was born Maganti Venu Banerjee. He has worked in movies for more than 40 years. Maganti Raghavaiah, a character actor, is his father. As an assistant director, Banerjee began his professional career. In numerous movies, he portrayed antagonistic and supporting roles.

He was born in Governorpeta, Vijayawada. He attended Vege Koteswaramma’s Montessori school for kids. His father worked for the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He spent some time in Delhi after being relocated there. A.C. College in Guntur is where he received his intermediate schooling. He then completed a course in hotel management in Chennai. He earned his B.A. in Chennai as well. Later, he held the position of branch manager for a business in Vizianagaram. His senior sister resides in Chennai. He resides in Hyderabad with his wife and daughter.

Banerjee is a Telugu movie actor. He was born as Maganti Venu Banerjee in Vijayawada, Governor Peta. He attended Montessori Children School, which was headed by Indian communist leader and feminist Kondapalli Koteswaramma.

He studied at A.C. College in Guntur and later took a Hotel Management course in Chennai. He also took a Bachelor of Arts in Chennai. Banerjee started his career in the film industry as an Assistant Director. And now, he has completed three decades in the business and has appeared in a villain and supporting roles in over 300 films including Harischandrudu, Killer, Gulabi, James Bond Nenu Kaadu Na Pellam, Santosham, Gowri, Sri, Three, Sankham, Bindaas, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, Wanted, James Bond, Raja The Great, and a lot more.

He was last seen portraying the role of Sitaram in the 2018 period action drama film Rangasthalam and as Coach Murthy in the romance film Tej I Love You. He juggled his work as a Producer and Assistant Director and due to his intense portrayal in many of his films, he has won several awards including the State Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
