Story:

Bindaas is a 2010 Telugu action-comedy directed by Veeru Potla, starring Manoj Manchu and Sheena Shahabadi, rose to success. Released on February 5, 2010, the film, made on a budget of ₹3 crore, grossed over ₹8 crore, becoming a critical and commercial hit. It was dubbed in Malayalam as “Happy 2 Happy” and remade in Kannada as “Jinke Mari” and even garnered two prestigious Nandi Awards.

In the heart of Rayalaseema, where family bonds are intertwined with age-old feuds, lives Ajay (Manoj Manchu). Torn from his roots, he and his parents find themselves isolated from the larger family of factionists led by Mahendra Naidu (Ahuti Prasad).

Their bitter enemy, Seshadri Naidu (Jaya Prakash Reddy), fuels a cycle of violence, claiming the lives of their loved ones. Determined to break free from this legacy of hatred, Ajay, a man with a free spirit, takes a stand against the bloodshed. His journey becomes a fight not just for his family’s survival, but for the future of Rayalaseema, seeking to end the senseless killings and forge a path towards peace.

Bindaas starts entertaining but falters in the second half, succumbing to clichés. Despite a predictable climax, debut director Potla shows promise with his engaging scenes. Manoj Manchu shines, but the heroine and music fall flat. While the story isn’t original, Potla keeps it entertaining with commercial elements, potentially appealing to box office audiences despite its predictable nature.
