Produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni under the Annapurna Studios banner, Rarandoi Veduka Chudham is a 2017 Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. The cast includes Sampath Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Rakul Preet Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. Released on May 26, 2017, the movie.
Devi Sri Prasad composed the music, N. Vishweshwar handled the cinematography, and Gautham Raju handled the editing. The movie was hailed as a box office success after earning over ₹50 crore and receiving favorable reviews. It was recreated as Seetharama Kalyana in Kannada.
Plot
The three best friends in the movie—Karthin, Adinarayana, and Prabhakar—start the movie in a village. Adi has a large family, and Priya, his older sister, gets engaged one day. She decides to elope ten days prior to her wedding. A miscommunication results in Krishna being suspected, and the friendship turns hostile.
Twenty-five years later, with Adi’s only daughter Bhrahmaramba, who is naive and lavishly cared for and has had very little or no contact with the outside world. According to her grandmother, she wants to marry a man who possesses the attributes of a prince. When Bhrahmaramba’s brother Kishore marries Bhramarambha’s friend, Shiva, the son of Krishna, first sees her and falls in love.
They part ways after teasing exchanges. Finally, Bhramarambha travels to Shiva’s hometown of Vizag for her academic pursuits. Shiva lives in Vizag, she learns quickly, and they spend a lot of time together, sharing everything with him. She informs him that she has no interest in dating him. Shiva has feelings for her, but he keeps them hidden out of fear of being rejected.
After that, they argue, and during that exchange, Shiva expresses his love for her as well as his irritation with her for continuing to hold out hope for a prince when she already has one. Enraged, Bhramarambha storms back home and reluctantly accepts her cousin’s marriage proposal. The remainder of the tale tells how Shiva settles disputes between the two families and eventually convinces Brahmaramba that he is her prince.
