Story:

“Andhrawala,” a 2004 Indian Telugu-language action film, was written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and featured N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in a dual role. The cast also included Rakshitha, Sayaji Shinde, and Rahul Dev in significant roles. The film’s music was composed by Chakri, and Shyam K. Naidu handled the cinematography. Notably, it was simultaneously produced in Kannada as “Veera Kannadiga” with Puneeth Rajkumar, directed by Meher Ramesh.

The release of “Andhrawala” garnered considerable attention, especially since N. T. Rama Rao Jr. had just delivered the blockbuster hit “Simhadri.” However, despite the high expectations, the movie turned out to be a box office disappointment.

The film’s plot revolves around Munna, a resident of Hyderabad’s slums, who discovers from a man named Basha that his true father is Shankar Pehalwan. Shankar had once fought against a gangster named Bade Mia in Mumbai, advocating for the rights of the Andhra people. The animosity between Shankar and Bade Mia escalated when Shankar and his associates accidentally killed Bade Mia’s son. During Munna’s naming ceremony, Bade Mia ruthlessly assassinated Shankar and his wife, but Shankar’s associate Pasha managed to escape with Munna, leaving him on a footpath beside a beggar.

Upon learning the truth about his parentage, Munna embarks on a mission of vengeance against Bade Mia. Through a series of confrontations, he ultimately succeeds in toppling Bade Mia and his criminal empire, thereby avenging his father Shankar’s tragic demise.
