Story:

Dictator is a 2016 Telugu-language action movie from India that was directed by Sriwass and co-produced by Eros International & Sriwass under the Vedhaaswa Creations brand. S. Thaman wrote the music for the film, which stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Anjali, Sonal Chauhan, and Vikramjeet Virk.

This marks the 99th film in Nandamuri Balakrishna’s career. M. Ratnam wrote the dialogue for the movie, while Sridhar Seepana, Gopimohan, and Kona Venkat wrote the script. The film’s Sankranthi release date was January 14, 2016. Later, in 2016, Cinekorn Pictures gave the film a Hindi dubbing, naming it Yudh: Ek Jung

At the start of the movie is Chandu, a worker at Dharma Group of Industries who resides in Hyderabad with his wife Katyayani’s family. Katyayani happens to be employed in Delhi. Indu, an aspiring actress, becomes Chandu her friend. Gangsters who are after her brother have put her in a difficult situation. As Chandu confronts them and gets into a fight with Minister Goverdhan Rao and a nefarious police officer named Prabhakar, she is kidnapped. Concurrently, his colleague Babji embezzles money from the business to fund his daughters’ weddings, and Chandu confesses to lying. His father-in-law Lakshmi Narayana’s search for the truth draws business Chairman Rajashekar Dharma’s attention. It is shockingly discovered that Chandu is actually Chandrashekar Dharma, also known as The Dictator, and the chairman of the Dharma group of corporations.

India’s largest tycoon, Chandrasekhar Dharma, battles the mafia and Delhi’s economic community. After getting to know Katyayani, a worker at his company, he develops feelings for her. They get along after Lakshmi Narayana introduces him as her coworker since she opposes society’s elite. After a while, Chandrasekhar fights Mahima Roy, a despotic woman, for killing his fatherly figure, Hari Prasad, with the help of her nefarious son-in-law, Viswambhar. Chandrasekhar’s family is abducted by Mahima, who then demands that he bow down to her. Mahima now gets calls from family members all around the world confirming that Chandrashekar has taken them under his care. Later, when Mahima sends Viswambhar again, Chandrasekhar gets rid of him. During the fight, Katyayani was stabbed. At that point, Katyayani requests that Chandrasekhar changing his identity go from Delhi.

Because of his men’s betrayal, Chandrasekhar is aware that Viswambhar is still alive and leaves for Delhi. Sivaram, a member of Chandrasekhar’s family, gives Viswambhar the backstab and says that Chandrasekhar would perform the required rituals for the deceased Hari Prasad. Knowing this, Viswambhar chooses to pursue Chandrasekhar and knock him out. Then, Sivaram sides with Chandrasekhar, saying that Viswambhar is being duped. Finally, Viswambhar is killed by Chandrasekhar, who then orders Mahima to depart the nation. In the end, Chandrasekhar reappears as The Dictator, Chandrasekhar Dharma.
