Anu Mohan, originally known as David Stanley and born on December 3, 1957 (exact birthdate not confirmed), is an Indian actor and director who has been active in the Tamil film industry. He initially began his career as a director, helming two feature films, “Idhu Oru Thodar Kathai” in 1987 and “Ninaivu Chinnam” in 1989. However, he transitioned into acting during the 1990s and gained recognition for his comedic role in K. S. Ravikumar’s blockbuster film “Padayappa” in 1999. This role opened up new opportunities for him in the industry.
Throughout the 2000s, Anu Mohan primarily appeared in low-budget films, often playing comedic roles. Although he worked on less prominent projects during this period, he continued to showcase his acting skills. Notably, he was called back by director K. S. Ravikumar to feature in the film “Lingaa” in 2014.
