Ragada

Story:

Ragada, a 2010 Indian Telugu action film directed by Veeru Potla and produced by D. Siva Prasad Reddy, features Nagarjuna, Anushka Shetty, Dev Gill, and Priyamani in the lead roles. The film’s music is composed by S. Thaman. The story follows Satya, who leaves his village and heads to Andhra Pradesh in pursuit of earning money. His involvement in a conflict between two rival factions brings him into their spotlight.

Ragada made its theatrical debut on December 24, 2010, and was subsequently dubbed and released in Tamil as “Vambu” in 2011.

Devudu attempts to murder an innocent man who opposes Peddanna, but he is ultimately killed by one of Peddanna’s loyal henchmen, Jairam. Peddanna is a notorious gangster in Andhra Pradesh, and he relies on three key followers – Jairam, Bhagavan, and Nanda – to carry out his nefarious activities, including taking lives on his behalf.

On a different note, Satya Reddy is a money-driven individual who finds himself embroiled in a clash between GK and Peddanna. Satya extends his support to GK, forming a partnership, and his involvement attracts the affection of GK’s romantic interest, Sirisha.

Satya’s life takes a turn when he rescues Ashtalakshmi from some pursuing thugs, leading her Brahmin family to stay with him for a period. Satya devises a plan for GK to confront Peddanna. During one of their confrontations, Jairam seizes Sirisha, prompting Satya to save her by eliminating Jairam. Ashtalakshmi also harbors affection for Satya.

Meanwhile, Sirisha encounters a tattooed friend at a pub, which Satya takes note of. Things take a dangerous turn when, during a lunch outing with Sirisha and Ashtalakshmi at a restaurant, Satya is ambushed by Bhagavan’s henchmen. Satya decides to take matters into his own hands and pays a visit to Bhagavan’s residence, resulting in the demise of Bhagavan and his father, an act that deeply angers Peddanna.
