Story:

Shourya, a 2016 Telugu romantic thriller film directed by K. Dasaradh, reunites him with Manchu Manoj, their second collaboration after “Sri” in 2005. Starring Regina Cassandra alongside Manoj, the film’s release on March 4, 2016 was met with negative reviews and disappointing box office results.

In defiance of their families’ opposition, Shourya and Netra elope, seeking a future together. Before embarking on their journey, they spend a night at Netra’s village temple. Tragedy strikes when someone attempts to murder Netra, leaving Shourya implicated in the crime. Under intense scrutiny due to Netra’s father’s political position, Shourya finds himself arrested and interrogated. He spins a false narrative, claiming Netra’s infidelity and his subsequent anger as the motive.

This fabricated story leads the police to Netra’s uncle’s factory, where they uncover a horrifying truth – multiple bodies, including Netra’s sister and her husband. The truth unravels, revealing Netra’s uncle as the mastermind behind the murders, driven by his political ambitions. Justice prevails as he is apprehended.

However, the astute detective Krishna Prasad sees through Shourya’s elaborate scheme, recognizing his calculated manipulation to bring down Netra’s father and uncle. Despite realizing Netra is still alive, Krishna Prasad chooses to show leniency, acknowledging the righteous outcome achieved through Shourya’s deception. In the end, the reunited Shourya and Netra live happily ever after.
