Story:

“Rangasthalam” is a Telugu-language Indian film released in 2018. It is a period action-drama film directed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, and Mohan Cherukuri under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film features Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles, with Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj in supporting roles.

The story is set in the 1980s in a fictional village called Rangasthalam in the Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, India. The film revolves around the character Chitti Babu, played by Ram Charan, who is a hearing-impaired, jovial, and carefree individual. Chitti Babu becomes involved in a conflict with the village’s powerful landlord, played by Jagapathi Babu, and the political system in the region.

“Rangasthalam” received critical acclaim for its storytelling, performances, music, and direction. It was particularly praised for its authentic portrayal of rural life in Andhra Pradesh.
