Biography:

Yuvan Shankar Raja is a renowned Indian music director and composer. He is the son of legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja and younger brother of music director Karthik Raja and playback singer Bhavatharini. Yuvan’s entry into the music industry was marked by his innovative and contemporary approach to music composition, making him a prominent figure in the Tamil and South Indian music scene. Yuvan’s musical journey began at a young age, heavily influenced by his father’s legacy. He made his debut as a music composer with the film “Aravindhan” in 1997, but it was his work in the film “Thulluvadho Ilamai” (2001) that garnered attention and marked the start of his prolific career.
