TheatreNaan Mahaan Alla is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Suseenthiran and produced by Studio Green. It stars Karthi, Kajal Aggarwal, Jayaprakash, and Soori. The movie is about Jeeva, a carefree young man in Chennai, whose father becomes the target of a gang of criminals after witnessing a kidnapping.
Released on 20 August 2011, the film received positive reviews for its cast performances, action sequences, and realistic tone. The climax fight scene became iconic and served as a benchmark for later films like Kaithi.
The plot revolves around Jeeva, whose father Pragasam witnesses a crime committed by a group of young men. Pragasam gets attacked and hospitalized, prompting Jeeva to take responsibility for his family. When Pragasam eventually dies from his injuries, Jeeva decides to take revenge. With the help of his friend Kutti Nadesan, Jeeva tracks down the gang responsible and eliminates them one by one.
In the end, Jeeva avenges his father’s death by confronting and defeating the gang, bringing justice to his family and finding closure for himself.
