Living with his brothers Sripathi, Chalapathi, and Ganapathi, as well as their families, is Raghupati, a village landlord. After his brother Sripathi is killed by two enigmatic attackers, Raghupati makes the decision to marry his daughter Shruti to an NRI named Krishna Prasad in order to ensure her safety. Though Shruti doesn’t want to leave her family after their marriage, Krishna proves to be a well-cultured man who wins everyone over with his nature, defying the expectations of the family. Krishna forbids Veerabhadram, Raghupati’s archenemy, from attacking Raghupati and his family members in the future.
Shruti quickly accepts the marriage proposal after having a change of heart. Krishna gladly agrees to Shruti’s request that he abandon his business and remain in the village. Mahendra, Shruti’s brother, tries to shield them from the two assailants who arrive to kill them. But with the help of the murderers, Krishna beheads Mahendra, the brother of Shruthi, and murders other men as well. In addition, Krishna kidnaps Shruthi and murders Ganapathi. When Shruthi questions Krishna about his actions, he confesses that he is Major Sanjeev and that Captain Amit and Sathya, two of his coworkers, are the real murderers.
After his brother Ajay kills himself from lung cancer brought on by chain smoking, Sanjeev looks into the matter with the assistance of his girlfriend Geetha, a microbiologist. They discover that cigars made by Tiger Brand have a significant amount of opium mixed in them. Mission Oxygen is started by Sanjeev and his superior officers, who also manage to get the brand destroyed. Sanjeev finds out that someone was attempting to get in touch with him and his family as he is reporting back to work. It is discovered that the Tiger Brand, where Sanjeev’s parents are brutally murdered, is actually owned by Raghupati’s brothers.
Now that she is persuaded, Shruti chooses to assist Sanjeev by locating the cigar formula. They are able to get the black money that Raghupati’s brothers had locked away in a safe and give it to the people who need it. When Raghupati finds out from Chalapathi about Sanjeev’s truth and Shruti’s abduction, he is horrified, has a stroke, and is taken to the hospital. In vain, a CBI officer attempts to apprehend Sanjeev following the money distribution. Shruti posts the link to a live broadcast of the operation while Sanjeev and his associates break into the factory to get the formula.
After a struggle that results in the deaths of Amit, Sathya, and Chalapathi, Raghupati shoots Sanjeev and reveals himself to be the true formula creator—having the formula stored away in his mind. Everyone discovers the true nature of Raghupathi through the live broadcast. Saying, “This is the last time you should smoke,” Sanjeev exhorts everyone before plunging into the fire with Raghupati, killing him and destroying the factory. As the police close the case and declare Sanjeev dead, the public is inspired to quit smoking. Nevertheless, Sanjeev’s whereabouts in Bombay are discovered after the CBI officer, who made an attempt to apprehend him, guarantees assistance at any time.
