TheatreN. Lingusamy is the writer and director of the 2014 Indian Tamil action film Anjaan, which is produced by Thirupathi Brothers. Manoj Bajpayee, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vidyut Jammwal, and Suriya are the film’s stars. The movie centers on a crippled guy who travels to Mumbai in search of his criminal brother and discovers the circumstances surrounding his abduction.
In Mumbai and Goa, principal photography got underway on November 20, 2013, and it was finished in June 2014. Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the background score and soundtrack album, while Santosh Sivan handled the film’s editing and cinematography, respectively. UTV Motion Pictures handled the movie’s distribution. After its August 15, 2014, release, Anjaan garnered reviews from both reviewers and viewers that ranged from mixed to unfavorable.
A crippled man named Krishna travels from Kanyakumari to Mumbai in search of his brother Raju. He is driven to a pub by Raja, a taxi driver, where he attempts to ask the goons of Raju’s erstwhile associate Amar about Raju but is turned down. Rajiv, Raju’s friend, informs him that Raju was a successful mobster. Then, when Krishna runs across Raju’s former foe JK, he learns that Raju saved his life when he had the opportunity to kill him. JK informs Krishna about Raju’s close friend Karim Bhai. After meeting Karim, Krishna finds out about Raju’s background. Karim is a personal buddy of both Raju and his brotherly friend Chandru, who are both formidable gangsters. Their goons include Johnny, Rajiv, Jackie, Manoj, and Amar.
