Biography:

The roles that Sudha Garu played as the mother and sister were particularly beautifully done. Duet, Thangamana Raasa, Thiyagu, Vaana Kanavugal, Enga Veetu Velan, Arasu, 7/G Rainbow Colony, Kanden Kadhalai, Theeradha Vilaiyaathu Pillai, 24, Vedalam, and other movies are just a few of her filmographies. In addition to appearing in films, Sudha Garu also appeared in plays and TV series. She has appeared in more than 25 different television programs, including Poove Unakkaga, Nachiyarpuram, and Chitti Thalli, all of which air on the Doordarshan channel. Director of casting for the Telugu film Sudha Garu appeared in a TV program that TalliTandrulu enjoyed, therefore she called Sudha Garu and invited her to appear in the film. Sudha Garu did not know a lot of Telugu when she first started creating movies, but by the time she was finished, she was a natural speaker. She made her acting debut in 1991 with the films Talli Tandrulu and Gang Leader.

Chiranjeevi, Jagapati Babu, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Suriya, Ajith, Dhanush, and other actors are among those she has collaborated with. Pokiri Raja, Sultan, Santhosham, Nuvve Nuvve, Jai Chiranjeeva, King, Oka Laila Kosam, and others are a few of her Telugu films. On January 31, 2014, Sudha Garu received recognition for her work in Telugu films. Sudha Garu has appeared in films in languages other than Tamil and Telugu. She has also made appearances in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam films. Some of her Malayalam literary works are Balettan, Yuvathurki, Aksharam, and Thattakam. Some of her Kannada works are Rangoli, Meravanige, and Thayi Kotta Seere. Sudha Garu reprised her role as Lakshmi for the official Hindi adaptation of Gang Leader, titled Remake Aaj Ka Goonda Raaj. In the motion picture Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, she portrayed Twinkle Khanna’s mother. Since her 1991 marriage, Sudha Garu has been a proud mother to two teenagers.

She, on the other hand, appeared in the films Right Right (2016) and Mantra 2 (2015). She appeared in the 2015 film “Vedalam” alongside Lakshmi Menon, Shruti Haasan, and Ajith Kumar. In the film “Siva,” she portrayed a blind woman, and she did a fantastic job. Alongside Samantha Akkineni, Nithya Menen, Saranya Ponvannan, and Suriya Sivakumar, she appeared in Jippaa Jimikki and “24” in 2016. She appeared in the 2017 religious film Om Namo Venkatesaya alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty. The director’s name is written as “K Raghavendra Rao”.In Pagadi Aattam, she also appeared with “Rahman,” “Akhil,” “Surendar Shanmugam,” and “Gowri Nandha.” She appeared on cinema in “Oxygen,” alongside Tottempudi Gopichand and Raashi Khanna. She also had a part in “Mama O Chandamama,” which was released the same year. In 2018, she performed in “Nartanasala” and “Ammammagarillu.” She made an appearance in the 2020 film “30 Rojullo Premichadam Ela,” which also starred Amritha Aiyer and Pradeep Machiraju. She appeared in the movie Thiruvalar Panchankam as well. Sudha played the lead role in the 2021 film Annapoornamma Gari Manavadu.

She had a long history of appearing in films and TV series. “Sila Nijangal Sila Niyayangal,” a 1998 episode of “Jannal,” featured Sudha as the programme’s lead female character. She also appeared in a Rajshri Tamil television programme called Adhiparasakthi. In the year 2020, she played Jayamma in the Telugu drama Chitti Talli on Star Maa. In the same year, she also appeared as Santhakumari in the Zed Tamil programme “Nachiyarpuram.” She also appeared in Poove Unakkaga on Sun TV. She appeared in Zed Keralam’s “Mrs. Hitler” in 2021 as Bhanumathi alongside Meghna Vincent and Shanavas Shanu.
