Biography:

Antara Biswas was born On November 21, 1982, into a Bengali Hindu household. At the suggestion of her uncle, she took on the stage name Monalisa.

She attended Julien Day School on Elgin Road in South Kolkata and completed her studies at Ashutosh College of the University of Calcutta, where she obtained a BA in Sanskrit. Actress Monalisa is from India and primarily works in Hindi television.

She has also done work in Bhojpuri movies. She has also acted in movies in the languages of Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and Odia. In 2016, she took part in the Bigg Boss 10 reality series as a contestant.

Her most well-known role was that of Mohana Rathod in the supernatural drama series Nazar on Star Plus. Prior to her career as a model and part-time TV actress for Odia video albums, she began her career a few years ago.

On January 17, 2017, she wed Bhojpuri actor Vikrant Singh Rajpoot inside the Bigg Boss house. Before launching her career in Bollywood with Blackmail, starring Ajay Devgn and Suniel Shetty, she appeared in a number of low-budget movies.

After that, she appeared in South Indian movies till gaining notoriety for her performance as Amin Gazi’s co-star in Tauba Tauba. She appeared in the Kannada motion picture Jackpot.

She and her spouse, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot, took part in Star Plus’ Smart Jodi in February 2022.  She will be starring as Rama in a sitcom on Dangal TV in December 2022. Favvara Chowk: Shaan of Indore
