Karthik regrettably is unaware that his marriage to Nandana was arranged.
Unintentionally, Nandana is revealed to be the bride. When Karthik’s maternal uncle Pandu returns from Dubai, he intends to ruin his match in order to exact revenge on him for discovering that Karthik truly loves Nandana. However, Karthik discovers the reality and decides to marry her. Though she has no interest in this marriage, her love for her father prevents her from opposing him. Their parents finish the process and they are declared engaged when she tries to back out of the marriage.
A compilation of his experiences with Nandana, Karthik’s book Oka Laila Kosam is the result of this writing. Karthik meets his friend at a pub in the meantime, and he finds out that a goon is blackmailing her about some personal information they shared. With his buddies, Karthik battles the thugs and finds solutions. Nandana thinks Karthik is a flirt because she cannot see Karthik’s love for him being genuine. Karthik gets paid ₹25,000 after the book Oka Laila Kosam is published. Using the money he earned to purchase a star certificate from the International Star Registry, Karthik names himself Nandana in an attempt to win her approval.
Despite her initial happiness, she rips the certificate to pieces because she still doesn’t think he’s real. However, she can’t turn Karthik down because doing so would disappoint her father. That evening, Karthik was attacked viciously by a goon while intoxicated Karthik was taken into custody by the police on the day of the wedding at the location for killing the goon. Consequently, the marriage is called off, much to Nandana’s satisfaction.
Karthik asks her if she’s happy at least now before walking away, grinning. Nandana finds this puzzling, and later on, she finds out that Karthik, with the assistance of a wealthy businessman whose daughter was involved in a successful love affair, had orchestrated a phony case and arrest. In the meantime, Shahrukh gives Nandana the book Oka Laila Kosam and claims that the author is the one who owns her pigeons. As she reads the book, which tells her story, she discovers Karthik’s sincerity through the words. They get together after she meets Karthik and makes a proposal to him in front of their respective families.
