Ride

Story:

An action romance movie in the Telugu language called Ride was released in 2009 and stars Nani, Tanish, Aksha Pardasany, and Shweta Basu Prasad. It was produced by Bellamkonda Suresh and directed by Ramesh Varma. The soundtrack for the movie was written by well-known singer Hemachandra. The movie, which debuted on June 5th, 2009, was a box office hit.

Engineering student Arjun (Nani) yearns for a bike. His father (Ahuti Prasad) does not grant his wish, though. Mahesh (Tanish) has two sisters and comes from a middle-class household. His father (Y. Kasi Viswanath), who is retired, provides for his family with his pension. Mahesh looks for work in order to support his father.

Mahesh accepts a position as a collection agent at Kapil Chit Funds, but the boss places a requirement that he own a two-wheeler. Mahesh buys a bike to go to work after Mahesh’s mother (Tulisa) sells some silver items. Mahesh’s father has a stroke one day, and while delivering medicine, he loses his bike. He reports the incident to the police, but to no avail. Without the bike, Mahesh is without an employment. Mahesh one day sees Arjun riding his bike, and they get into a fight over it. Mahesh finds out that Arjun won a bike race and used the winnings to buy the bike on the illicit market.

They finally come to an understanding on the advice of a pandit to use the bike to suit the convenience of each other by dividing the day. They keep their promise and use the bike judiciously.
