Bhumika Chawla was born on August 21, 1978, in New Delhi, India.She was raised in a Punjabi family and completed her schooling from Delhi’s Gyan Bharati School.She later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Miranda House, Delhi University.
Bhumika Chawla made her acting debut in the Telugu film industry with the movie “Yuvakudu” in 2000.She gained recognition and critical acclaim for her performance in the film “Khushi” (2001), opposite actor Pawan Kalyan.
Her breakthrough role came in the Hindi film “Tere Naam” (2003), where she starred alongside Salman Khan. Her portrayal of Nirjara Bharadwaj earned her widespread recognition and several nominations.
