Run

Story:

“Run” is a 2004 Indian romantic action film directed by Jeeva, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bhumika Chawla. Produced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi under Sridevi Productions, the film received mixed reviews.

The story follows Siddharth, or Sidhu (Abhishek Bachchan), who comes to New Delhi for his studies. He falls in love with Janhvi (Bhumika Chawla), belonging to a conservative Haryanvi family. Janhvi’s protective elder brother, Ganpat (Mahesh Manjrekar), creates challenges for their relationship.

Despite threats and obstacles, Sidhu and Janhvi decide to elope. Ganpat uses various tactics to disrupt their lives, but Sidhu, with determination, overcomes these challenges. In the end, a final confrontation between Sidhu and Ganpat results in Sidhu winning, and Ganpat accepts their relationship.

The movie portrays Sidhu and Janhvi’s journey of love amid family opposition and the challenges they face before finally marrying and starting their life together.
