Story:

“Dil Jo Bhi Kahey…” is a 2005 Indian romantic drama film directed by Romesh Sharma. The film features a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Revathi Nair, Karan Sharma, Bhumika Chawla, Annabelle Wallis, Malcolm Stoddard, and Claire Oberman. Notably, it marks the debut and the only cinematic appearance of Karan Sharma, who is also the son of the director.

Set against the backdrop of Mauritius, the film revolves around the Sinha family—Shekhar, his wife Sandhaya, and their son Jai. Jai travels to Stockholm, Sweden, for culinary studies and crosses paths with Sophie Besson, a Roman Catholic Franco-Mauritian. As their meetings become more frequent, a love story unfolds.
