Jose claims to be Unni’s 7th-grade classmate, and due to Unni’s forgetfulness, he is initially accepted into their home.
However, as time goes on, Unni becomes suspicious of Jose’s true identity and motives. Consulting with his confidant and classmate, Dr. Alex Varghese, Unni discovers that they never had a schoolmate named Jose. The mystery deepens when they find out that the stranger is actually Sivankutty, a man whose life Unni and Alex had ruined by framing him for a murder they committed.
Realizing that payback time has arrived, Sivankutty forces Unni and Alex to accompany him to his village. The plan is to confess the crime to Sivankutty’s wife and daughter, who had left him after learning about the truth. Unni initially tries to escape but is threatened to stay. Alex joins him in meeting Sivankutty’s family, where they confess their crime.
However, upon reaching Sivankutty’s house, they discover that his wife and daughter have already passed away. Sivankutty, initially seeking revenge, changes his mind and lets them go back. The movie explores themes of guilt, redemption, and the consequences of one’s actions.
