Laddu Babu

Story:

“Laddu Babu” is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language comedy film featuring Allari Naresh and Bhumika Chawla. Directed by Ravi Babu and produced by Tripuraneni Rajendra and E. S. L. Narasimhan, the film revolves around the character Laddu Babu, played by Allari Naresh, who undergoes an irreversible transformation into an extremely obese man after being bitten by a mosquito carrying a strange virus.

Laddu Babu, once a slim and good-looking man, becomes a challenge for his father Kishtayya, who wants to get him married quickly to inherit their ancestral home. However, Laddu Babu’s size and attitude make the task difficult, as he dreams of finding true love in a dream girl.

Meanwhile, a ten-year-old boy named Murthy, along with his friends, plans to make Laddu Babu’s life miserable due to a previous refusal to be friends. Laddu Babu sets his eyes on Maya and falls in love with her, but Murthy and his gang indirectly sabotage Laddu Babu’s attempts to woo her.

Thrown out of his house, Laddu Babu finds unexpected friendship with Murthy and his mother Madhuri. As Laddu Babu’s fortunes change, Maya enters his life. However, the twist comes when Maya reconciles with her handsome boyfriend, leaving Laddu Babu heartbroken. Unaware of Murthy’s underlying motive, Laddu Babu agrees to marry the twins arranged by his father to repay Madhuri, who had been kind to him.

The film takes a new turn when Murthy develops a chronic health condition, leading to a series of events that involve Laddu Babu’s transformation, a hospital visit, and an unexpected marriage to Madhuri as a fulfillment of Murthy’s last wish.
