Yaariyan

Story:

“Yaariyan” is a 2008 Punjabi film produced by Pinky Basrao. Directed by Deepak Grewal, the film stars renowned actor Gurdas Maan in the lead role, with Bhumika Chawla portraying his love interest. The supporting cast includes talented actors Om Puri and Gulshan Grover, with a special appearance by Asrani.

Jasawar (played by Gurdas Maan), a lawyer from Punjab, moves to Canada with hopes of practicing law. However, circumstances lead him to take up various odd jobs instead. During his time in Canada, he falls in love with a woman portrayed by Bhumika Chawla. Following an accident, Jasawar devises a plan to pursue an easy money case with the assistance of Khanna (portrayed by Gulshan Grover), only to discover that the driver he intends to sue is related to his lover. Despite this revelation, Jasawar persists with the lawsuit.
