A well-known Indian actress, Ramya Krishnan has primarily worked in South Indian films like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. On September 15, 1970, she was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Professional life: Ramya Krishnan started out as a child actor before moving into lead roles. In 1983, she made her acting debut as a lead character in the Tamil movie “Vellai Manasu.” She has acted in many popular films over the course of her career, showcasing her versatility in a variety of roles.

In “Padayappa” (1999), Ramya Krishnan played the part of Neelambari, which became one of her most recognizable and iconic roles. She has also played the part of Sivagami in blockbuster films like “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015) and its sequel “Baahubali: The Conclusion” (2017).
