TheatreNarasimha is a Tamil film dubbed in Telugu released in 1999.
Narasimha returns home for his sister’s engagement but falls for his uncle’s maid. His uncle’s demands tear the family apart, leading to their father’s death. Suryaprakash, motivated by wealth, marries his uncle’s daughter, leaving Nrasimha’s mother to face insults and bless them despite the pain.
While clearing land, Narasimha uncovers a valuable granite hill. Ramalingam attempts to reclaim the family property to exploit it, but Savithri refuses. Narasimha, after thwarting Ramalingam’s schemes, starts a granite business, amassing wealth and reclaiming his father’s Chieftain position. His family flourishes, settling in a new mansion and regaining their lost respect. Nandhini finds happiness in marriage to a chief engineer in Narasimha’s company.
Neelambari, enraged by Narasimha’s love for Vasundhara, tries suicide, forcing her parents to beg for his hand in marriage. Savithri, aware of Narasimha’s love, shocks everyone by proposing to Vasundhara herself to revenge her brother’s humiliation. Driven to shame, Rajarathnam commits suicide.
Neelambari vows revenge but fails. Narasimha marries Vasundhara, leaving Neelambari locked in her room, obsessed with his wedding video. Years later, a vengeful Neelambari remains confined while Suryaprakash rises to power. Destitute and facing eviction, Ramalingam seeks help from Suryaprakash but is rejected.
Narasimha intervenes, saving his family and earning Ramalingam’s forgiveness. Neelambari schemes to humiliate Narasimha through his daughter Anitha, using Chandru, Suryaprakash’s son, as a pawn. However, Chandru falls genuinely for Anitha, disrupting the plan. At Anitha’s wedding, she declares her love for Chandru, forcing Narasimha to promise their union by the next auspicious time.
Discovering Chandru’s true feelings, Narasimha takes the couple to the temple, but tragedy strikes – Suryaprakash dies in a car accident during the chase orchestrated by Neelambari. Gun-toting Neelambari attacks Narasimha at the temple, but he saves her from a bull and dodges her bullets.
Defeated and enraged, she commits suicide, vowing revenge in her next life. Narasimha, unfazed, prays for her peace.
