Early life:
Aadarsh was born in Bangalore on February 10th, 1984. His mother Uma works as a homemaker, while his father Balakrishna owns a business. Apoorva, his younger sister, is an architect. Up till the third standard, Aadarsh attended Sophia High School in Bangalore. His family thereafter relocated to Hyderabad, where he attended St. Andrews High School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Public School to finish his education. He graduated from Nizam College in 2005-2006 with a business major. He played cricket and harboured aspirations to represent India. He played for Osmania University in addition to representing Hyderabad in several state-level competitions.
His cousins include Ramya Raghupathi, Naresh’s second wife, Sriimurali’s wife, Vidya, and Prashanth Neel, a director of Kannada films.
Film career:
As a young boy, Aadarsh wanted to play cricket, and when he was a teenager, he competed at the state level. While he was attending St. John’s Cricket Academy, Nagesh Kukunoor’s crew noticed him and invited him to try out for the role of Iqbal. They were looking for a real cricketer to portray the part of “Kamal” opposite Shreyas Talpade. The movie Iqbal went on to become a critical and financial hit after he was cast in the part of Kamal. It received a National Award in 2005 and was made by Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Searchlight Films. Later, Sekhar Kammula’s major 2007 blockbuster Happy Days, which was directed by Aadarsh, gave him his big debut in Tollywood.
He portrayed Sanjay, a bully who targets seniors, in the film, which was set in an engineering college. His portrayal of his role was noteworthy, and he became known in Tollywood as a “Bad Guy.” After that, he appeared in the financially successful films Vinayakudu (2008), directed by Sai Kiran Avidi, and Ride (2009), directed by Ramesh Varma. In a brief period, Aadarsh collaborated with filmmakers such as Ram Gopal Varma, Sekhar Kammula, Gopichand Mallineni, and Nagesh Kukunoor. He made his Kannada cinema debut in Nooru Janmaku, which was helmed by national award-winning filmmaker Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and featured him as the second lead. He co-starred with Ram Charan in the Krishna Vamsi-directed movie Govindudu Andarivadele.
In the Celebrity Cricket League, Aadarsh plays for the Telugu Warriors and is a pillar of the team. He finished second in the Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 GRAND Final.
In the upcoming Peshawar web series by Ullu App, which is based on the 2014 Peshawar school massacre, he will be seen portraying an agent for the Indian Research and Analysis Wing. His character is partially based on the real-life hero, also known as “Black Tiger,” who gained widespread fame.
