Biography:

Varinder Singh Ghuman, popularly known as The Beast, is an Indian professional bodybuilder, actor, and former wrestler. He was born on August 25, 1975, in Dakhoke village, Punjab, India. Ghuman is recognized as the first Indian to compete in and represent the country in the Mr. Universe competition.

Varinder Singh Ghuman began his athletic journey as a wrestler and achieved success at the state and national levels in India. However, he eventually shifted his focus to bodybuilding and started training intensely to sculpt his physique. His massive size, strength, and impressive muscular development quickly earned him the nickname “The Beast.”

Ghuman made his mark on the international bodybuilding scene in 2009 when he competed in the Mr. India competition and emerged as the winner. This victory earned him the opportunity to represent India at the prestigious Mr. Universe competition held in the same year. His participation in the competition garnered significant attention and brought him recognition as the first Indian bodybuilder to achieve this feat.

Aside from bodybuilding, Varinder Singh Ghuman has also ventured into acting. He made his acting debut in the Punjabi film industry with the movie “Kabaddi Once Again” in 2012. He later appeared in films like “Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans” (2014), a Bollywood adventure thriller, and “Yaaran Da Katchup” (2014), a Punjabi comedy.
