Story:

Winner is a 2017 Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Gopichand Malineni and co-produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions & Leo Productions. With music by S. Thaman and stars Sai Dharam Tej, Rakul Preet Singh, and Jagapati Babu.

Production started in March 2016, and main photography in Hyderabad started in August 2016. Additional shooting locations were in Bangalore, Kyiv, Lviv, Istanbul, Ooty, and Kyiv.The movie was released on February 24, 2017, worldwide.

Business tycoon Dharmendra Reddy has an only son, jockey Mahendra Reddy, who is among the best in the nation and leaves the family when he marries Lakshmi against Dharmendra’s wishes. After Lakshmi passes away giving birth to a baby boy named Siddharth Reddy, also known as Siddu, Mahendra leads a happy life. From that point on, Mahendra is everything to Lakshmi, and the two are enslaved to a bondage of devoted love. Dharmendra Reddy’s business nearly collapses after his son leaves the house, leaving him with no option but to retrieve his son. After that, he makes the decision to keep Siddu and his father apart. To do this, he builds a wall between them and carefully arranges for his son to marry someone else.with the daughter of his friend, forcing Siddu to flee his house under duress.

Siddu becomes a hateful adult who despises his father, works as the creative director of a newspaper, and harbours animosity towards horses and racing. On the other hand, Mahendra searches for Siddu nonstop for a number of years. Siddu falls in love with Sitara, but discovers that she is training by pretending to her parents that she is a student in order to achieve her goal of becoming a successful athlete and winning the National Championship in running races. She displays an aversion to him despite his attempts to impress her. As a result, Siddhu, who is inebriated, meddles in her life by telling her father Rajeev Reddy her secret. He thus ends her marriage to a best jockey right away. Siddu also makes his way to the marriage, where Sitara presents him as the top jockey and devises a scheme to get out of the union in which she is in love.

Sithara intends to hold a race between them, and she plans to wed the victor. Mahendra Reddy interrupts the argument to reveal himself to the jockey as his estranged son Siddharth Reddy, who accepts the challenge. When Siddu discovers that the person kidnapping Dharmendra Reddy’s PA is actually Aadhi, a jockey and assassin who poses as someone else and settles with his family on Dharmendra Reddy’s orders to cease needless spending on the son’s search, Siddu is taken aback. Siddu makes the decision to accept the challenge and turn into a professional jockey. By assisting Sitara in competing in and winning the National Championship, Siddu is able to win Sitara’s affection. In addition, Siddhu triumphs in the race, meets up with his father (who has been informed of the truth by Dharmendra Reddy’s PA), and humiliates Aadhi. After realising his error, Dharmendra Reddy gets back in touch with Siddu and Mahendra, winning both the challenge and life.
