Biography:

After deciding to combine their life savings, Peter and Michael directed their first low-budget zombie horror-comedy, Undead, in 2003. It screened at 17 film festivals, including Edinburgh, Montreal, Toronto, Sitges, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Puchon, and won a medal for Best Visual Effects at the Australian Film Institute Awards. Undead received the esteemed FIPRESCI Award from the International Federation of Film Critics during the Melbourne International Film Festival. Lions Gate Entertainment, who grew close to Peter and Michael and supported their second picture, Daybreakers, released the movie in the US and Canada and sold it in 41 countries.

Four-time Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke, four-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe, Sam Neill, Claudia Karvan, Vince Colosimo, Michael Dorman, and Isabel Lucas starred in the 2010 film Daybreakers. In January 2010, the movie debuted on 2,500 screens in the US.

Predestination, the action sci-fi thriller directed by the Spierig brothers, was inspired on Robert A. Heinlein’s 1959 science fiction short tale ——All You Zombies—”. Noah Taylor makes an appearance in the movie, which stars Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. In order to apprehend a master criminal and secure his own survival, Hawke, an investigator from a secret government organization, sets out on a complex sequence of time-travel expeditions.

The twins co-wrote and co-directed the movie, which was shot in Australia in the spring of 2013. Variety, The Guardian, and IGN Movies all gave the movie favorable reviews following its March 8, 2014, SXSW premiere.

Jigsaw, the eighth Saw movie, was directed by the two and came out on October 27, 2017. On February 2, 2018, Winchester: The House That Ghosts Built, a horror movie about the Winchester Mystery House, was released. Helen Mirren played heiress Sarah Winchester. Globally, “Jigsaw” brought in $102,952,888.On a $3.5 million budget, “Winchester” made $46 million worldwide.
