Mahesh Mahadevan wrote the soundtrack for the movie, which stars Venkatesh and Anjala Zaveri. The story depicts a couple whose love becomes embroiled in a violent area.

One of the earliest movies to depict factionalism in the Rayalaseema region of the state of Andhra Pradesh is thought to be Preminchukundam Raa. When it was released on May 9, 1997, the movie was a commercial success and the highest grossing Telugu movie of the year.

Plot

In Rayalaseema, Veerabhadraiah is a formidable factionist who opposes love weddings. Sivudu, his goon; to him, his word is binding. Even after Veerabhadraiah murders his father in front of him, Sivudu accepts all of his actions.

Veerabhadraiah’s principal adversary is the barbarian Reddappa, with whom he continues to engage in violent rivalry. Giri, a brilliant student in Hyderabad, has a happy life in parallel.

After he has arguments with his coworkers, his parents send him to live with his elder sister Vaani in Kurnool, where he becomes enamored with Kaveri, the neighbor of Giri’s brother-in-law Chakrapani, after they receive a threat from her.

Giri breaks off his engagement and returns to Kurnool as his parents arrange for it to happen. begins to despise him. Unaware of it, Kaveri despises him, but eventually discovers his true love.

Here, Kaveri is the flabbergasted daughter of Veerabhadraiah, who harbors resentment and knowledge of the love affair. Giri now responds to Veerabhadraiah by dragging Kaveri with him.

Veerabhadraiah leads Sivudu in pursuit with his henchmen. When Giri and Kaveri arrive in Hyderabad, his parents reject them out of fear for Veerabhadraiah, and even the SRK Master curses them.

As a result, Giri leaves the house and arranges for their marriage with the assistance of his pals. Simultaneously, Sivudu attacks them, causing Giri to sustain injuries, severing Kaveri, and taking her back to Rayalaseema by force.

Chakrapani and Vaani arrive in Hyderabad at the same time, shoot Giri, and check him into the hospital. Giri’s parents now relocate to Rayalaseema, whom Veerabhadraiah locks down, after deciding to speak with him. Giri makes his way to Rayalaseema right away and saves Sivudu and his family from Reddappa.

His words reform Sivudu in that passage. Finally, Giri defends his parents and moves forward with Kaveri. When Veerabhadraiah is ready to knock them down during the chase, Sivudu blocks his path and corrects him, which causes him to realize. Giri and Kaveri eventually tie the knot.
