His journey in the entertainment industry began when he portrayed the character Tintin in the TV series “Gaaner Opare” and later took on the lead role of Chandrakiran Chowdhury in the show “Adwitiya.” His film debut came with Kaushik Ganguly’s “Rang Milanti.”

In 2011, he continued to shine by portraying the male lead, Chandrakiran Chowdhury, in “Adwitiya” on Star Jalsa. Additionally, he had a brief role in the mega serial “Subarnalata” in 2012 on Zee Bangla as Sunirmal, a character who stood in solidarity with Subarnalata’s daughter, Bokul.
After making his mark on television, Indrasish Roy ventured into the world of cinema, starring in films like “Rang Milanti,” “The Play,” “Hrid Majharey,” “Aamar Aami,” and “Chotushkone.” His silver screen debut in “Rang Milanti,” a romantic comedy directed by Kaushik Ganguly in September 2011, garnered widespread critical acclaim and commercial success.
In the film, he portrayed the character Tito, a passionate film enthusiast and aspiring director with dreams of winning prestigious awards like the Palme d’Or and an Oscar. Tito’s love interest in the movie was Kamalika, played by Ridhima Ghosh. Indrasish shared the screen with esteemed actors such as Churni Ganguly, Saswata Chatterjee, and others, including Gaurav Chakraborty, Gourab Chatterjee, Ridhima Ghosh, and Tanaji Dasgupta.
Beyond his acting career, Indrasish Roy actively participates in the Celebrity Cricket League, representing the Bengal Tigers.
