Story:

In 2017, Kishore Kumar Pardasani released the action drama movie Katamarayudu in India. With Tarun Arora, Siva Balaji, Ajay Ali, Kamal Kamaraju, Chaitanya Krishna, Pradeep Rawat, Rao Ramesh, and Nassar playing supporting roles, it stars Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan. It is a remake of the Siva-directed Tamil film Veeram. Anup Rubens created the music, Prasad Murella shot the movie, and Gautham Raju edited it. The movie premiered in every country on March 24, 2017. The film was also dubbed in Malayalam under the same title and released by Goldmines Telefilms in Hindi. At the box office, the film was a complete failure.

A courageous individual named Kattula Katamarayudu “Katama” resides in the village of Oddaanchatram. His family includes his four brothers. The older brother has a deep love for the younger siblings and will sacrifice his happiness for their sake. They frequently get involved in fights and take pride in it. Anytime they get into legal trouble as a result of their fights, advocate Bail Lingam steps in to save them. Katamarayudu despises the notion of getting married because he thinks his wife could upset his brothers. Even though the four younger brothers claim they do not desire to date or get married, they all have hidden partners when Katama is not present.

They discover that Katama formerly had a crush on a student named Avantika through his brother’s childhood buddy Collector, and they devise a scheme to track her down and reintroduce her to Katama in the hopes that he will fall in love with her once more. She is currently married and has children, so the brothers decide to look for another Avantika because Katama was only in love with that girl’s name; therefore, if he meets another (completely unrelated) girl with that name, he is certain to fall in love with her simply because she has that name. Katama is initially hesitant, but later develops feelings for her. He engages in conflict with a merchant named Radia over control of the village market. Katama kidnaps Juttu Ranga, the son of Radia, while Radia tries to kill Katama’s brothers. Kattula Katamarayudu commands Radia to leave the community after a fight.

Avantika tells Katama about her family’s history as they ride the train to her hamlet. While Avanthika’s father, Bhupathi, is well-liked in the community and abhors violence, his son is the exact opposite and kills people. However, once his son is slain, Bhupathi refuses to bury him and instead makes his town a place of peace and harmony. A couple thugs get aboard the train, but Katama beats them all up. Avantika is surprised because she had assumed he was a non-violent individual. At Avantika’s village, Katamar and his brothers look well shaven. He claims to have changed and would never harbour violence. Her family welcomes and respects him and his brothers. Their kindness, care, and love move Bhupathi and leave an impression. Katama discovers that Yelasari Bhanu, a thugs, wants to murder Bhupathi and his family. A flashback reveals the cause: Yelasari Bhanu’s father is to blame for the matchstick factory explosion. Yelasari Bhanu’s father commits himself after being hit by a lorry as a result of Bhupathi’s complaint about him, which leads to his incarceration.

Yelasari Bhanu promises to exact revenge on Bhupathi. Without Bhupathi and the family’s knowledge, Katama kills all the thugs and resolves all their issues. Bhupathi asks Katama to leave town after discovering a sickle under Katama’s jeep with his granddaughter. Yelasari Bhanu, who managed to avoid being put to death, shows up to kill Bhupathi, but Katama protects both of them. Yelasari Bhanu informs Katamarayudu that he has abducted Sivarayudu, one of Katamarayudu’s brothers. When Katama arrives just in time to save his brother, Yelasari Bhanu attacks him instead. When Bhupathi and his family arrive, they learn about the danger Katama took to save him. Yelasari Bhanu and his goons are mercilessly murdered by an injured Katamarayudu. Bhupathi chose to offer his daughter Avantika his hand after being moved by Katamarayudu’s bravery. The marriage of Kattula Katamarayudu and his brothers marks the conclusion of the movie.
