Indian filmmaker and screenwriter Raj Kumar Gupta is well-known for his Hindi-language productions. The highly regarded film Aamir (2008) was his directorial debut. He then wrote and directed No One Killed Jessica (2011), which was based on the real-life murder of Jessica Lal and was well-received by critics and the general public. This was followed by the oddball comedy Ghanchakkar, which starred Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi. He directed the Ajay Devgn film Raid in 2018, which made over 100 crores.
