Vijay embarked on his acting journey with his debut film, “Thalaivaasal,” released in 1992. Notably, the film’s title became a permanent part of his stage name, reflecting the recognition he received for his performance. Throughout his illustrious career, Vijay has established himself as a character actor, excelling in roles that contribute depth and richness to the stories he’s a part of. One of his memorable portrayals was in R. Sukumaran’s 2010 Malayalam film “Yugapurushan,” where he portrayed the character of Narayana Guru.
