Story:

“Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum” is a 2016 Indian Tamil language fantasy comedy film, directed by Amudheshwar and produced by Dushyanth Ramkumar under the banner of Eshan Productions. The movie, shot in various locations including West Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia, features a star-studded cast, including Prabhu, Kalidas Jayaram, Ashna Zaveri, and Pooja Kumar. Marketed as Prabhu Ganesan’s 200th film, it also marked the official Tamil debut of Kalidas Jayaram.

The plot revolves around Annamalai (Prabhu), a single parent in Malaysia who owns an Indian restaurant and is very attached to his son, Karthik (Kalidas Jayaram). Karthik, however, is a carefree individual more focused on his friends than his emotional father. The narrative takes a fantastical turn when a saint named Swami (Kamal Haasan) swaps the souls of Annamalai and Karthik to make them understand each other’s perspectives.
