Pritam Chakraborty, known professionally as Pritam, is a renowned Indian music composer, singer, and record producer. He was born on June 14, 1971, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Pritam is known for his versatile music compositions that span across various genres, including film soundtracks, pop music, and remixes.

Pritam started his career in the late 1990s composing jingles and background music for advertisements. He gained recognition in the music industry with his breakthrough film soundtrack for the movie “Tere Naam” (2003), directed by Satish Kaushik. The songs from the film, including “Tumse Milna” and “Odhni Odh Ke Nachu,” became instant hits and established Pritam as a talented composer.

Since then, Pritam has consistently delivered successful and chart-topping music in Bollywood. He has worked on numerous blockbuster films, collaborating with various directors and lyricists.
