Plot
In the employ of Aditya Jindal, Valmiki and Randeep begin their careers as clerks. While Valmiki stays in poverty, Randeep becomes affluent after marrying Yashoda “Yashu,” the daughter of Jindal. Randeep’s son looks to be dead on the day both of their children are born. When nurse Sulochana tells Valmiki about this, he feels bad for Randeep and suggests trading his infant for the deceased one because the Jindals had done so much for Randeep.
However, after switching them, Randeep’s child starts to sob, having not actually died. Valmiki prevents Sulochana from switching the babies back and unintentionally pushes her off a cliff because he believes his kid will have a better life as a member of a wealthy family. Sulochana enters a coma, preventing the disclosure of Valmiki’s identity.
After 25 years, Bantu, who was raised by Valmiki, is street savvy and vocal whereas Raj, who was nurtured at Jindal’s home, is shy and innocent. Valmiki treats Bantu poorly since he prefers his own son Raj. Samara, the owner of the law business where Bantu is hired, is pleased by Bantu’s intelligence and knowledge. Raj is currently returning from his international studies. Raj is sent by Jindal to turn down Sarang, a prominent man who offers to purchase their company’s stock but is involved in the drug trade. Randeep observes the transaction while Samara meets with a client in a restaurant. Bantu gets involved when the client misbehaves around Samara.Randeep is dissatisfied that Raj can’t refuse Sarang, but he brightens at Bantu and Samara when they stand up to the unruly customer. Raj then gets engaged to Samara, but Bantu and she have already started dating.
Randeep gets in the way, so Sarang tries to kill him. Randeep is saved by Bantu, and Sulochana—who has awakened from her coma—meets him in the hospital. Before passing away, she exposes Bantu’s real parents. Bantu claims that Valmiki is not his father. Bantu’s real grandfather, Aditya Jindal, appreciates him for saving Randeep and hires him.
By mending Randeep’s connection with Yashu, which has been strained since Randeep’s affair seven years ago, Bantu starts to deal with the problems afflicting the home. Additionally, he resolves the conflict with Sarang and changes the corrupt family members. When he and Samara inform Raj about their connection, Raj breaks off his engagement to Samara and confronts his parents, telling them he should be given the freedom to choose his own path rather than being dictated to. Yashu is taken hostage by Sarang, who threatens to kill her unless Randeep pays him money.
Saving Yashu is Bantu. Jindal says that he overheard the conversation between Sulochana and Bantu just before her passing, which is how he came to know who Bantu was and why to bring him home. Despite reuniting with Randeep, Bantu begs him not to tell Yashu the truth for fear that she will be hurt to learn that Raj, whom she adores so much, is not her own kid. Bantu, according to Yashu, is similar to her son because he saved her and the family. Raj is to be made the CEO of their company, and Yashu wants Valmiki to prepare him to be as capable as Bantu. Bantu makes peace with Valmiki and extends forgiveness to him.
