TheatreGolmaal Returns is a Hindi comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and a remake of the 1989 Marathi film Pheka Pheki, which was inspired by the 1973 Hindi film Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar. This film is the second entry in the Golmaal series, featuring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and Shreyas Talpade. The soundtrack was composed by Pritam.
The story follows Gopal, who, after spending a night on a yacht with a young woman he rescued, faces suspicion from his wife, Ekta, who believes he is having an affair and seeks to uncover the truth.
Released on 29 October 2008, Golmaal Returns was among the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year. It was followed by a sequel, Golmaal 3, in 2010.
