Story:

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, also known as You’re a liar, I’m cunning, was written by Rahul Mody and Luv Ranjan and was released in 2023 in Hindi. Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, and Anubhav Singh Bassi all play prominent supporting parts in this Luv Films and T-Series Films production, which also features Dimple Kapadia.

On March 8, 2023—the Holi weekend—Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar was launched in theatres. Critics’ opinions on the movie were divided. The movie was a huge financial success, earning over 220.10 crore globally, ranking as the fourth-highest Hindi film and the sixth-highest Indian film of 2023.

Beginning on January 8th, 2021, Ranbir and Shraddha began filming in Ghaziabad. The second session of the movie began in Delhi in July 2021. The third schedule started in Mumbai in August 2021, and another one started in Delhi in November 2021. The following timetable occurred in Mumbai once more in March 2022. In June 2022, the following schedule was held in Spain and Mauritius.
A song with Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor was scheduled to be filmed in July 2022, but production was put on hold after a fire broke out on the movie set in Chitrakoot Grounds, Andheri.

PLOT

Ramesh Arora is a wealthy business entrepreneur from Punjab, and his son Rohan “Mickey” Arora resides in Delhi with his family. Along with his best buddy Manu Dabbas, he discreetly works as a break-up consultant, assisting people in ending their relationships. For Manu’s bachelor party, Mickey and Manu fly to Spain. Kinchi, Manu’s fiancée, and Nisha “Tinni” Malhotra, who is also Kinchi’s best friend, are with them. Tinni and Mickey get together and eventually develop a romantic relationship. Upon their return, Mickey and Tinni present each other to their respective families while Manu and Kinchi exchange vows. Both families acknowledge their relationship and begin planning for the couple’s wedding. Tinni, on the other hand, decides to end her relationship with Mickey since she feels unprepared for marriage.Unaware that Mickey is actually the break-up expert, Tinni calls him on the phone and requests assistance in splitting up with him. Mickey offers to assist without realising he is talking to Tinni.

Mickey suggests that Tinny and his partner’s horoscopes match, and if they don’t match, the marriage can be called off. However, their horoscopes match perfectly and the plan fails. Mickey soon learns that her client is none other than her Tinny, and is heartbroken that she has not tried to clarify her misunderstandings by discussing her concerns with Tinny. increase. He decides to work with Tinny to bring her down by her own means. He suggests Tinny take the “jealousy test,” which could lead to her breaking up. Tinny hires a man as an old friend and dances with him seductively in front of Mickey. But Mickey pretends not to notice and remains unfazed. Mickey then suggests taking a “loyalty test” and Tinny hires a girl to seduce Mickey. If he cheated on her, she could easily break up with him. However, Mickey acted as a loyal partner without giving in, and this plan also ended in failure.

On the phone, Mickey pretends to be a breakup counselor and asks Tinny why they broke up. Tinney revealed that after her marriage she no longer wanted to live with his family and she wanted to live independently so she could have her own personal space. She thinks she wants to break up with him because she knows that Mickey loves her family very much and she doesn’t want Mickey to choose between herself and her family. I’m here. Unwilling to leave her family for her sake, Mickey decided to dissolve her marriage. He suggested telling Tini that he had received her job offer in Bangalore and intended to live there permanently after her marriage. Their marriage breaks down and they go their separate ways.

Some time later, they reunite at Kinch’s baby shower. Tini injures her leg while dancing at an event, Mickey takes care of her with her family and she realizes the importance of living together as her family. When she talks to Tinny, Mickey’s niece Choti blurts out a peculiar phrase Mickey said, which leads Tinny to realize that her breakup counselor was actually Mickey. She confronted him about it and was disappointed that he didn’t try to work things out with her even after he found out the truth about her, she said she still loved him. rice field. She says she intends to live in London permanently and she heads to the airport. Mickey’s family advises him not to risk his love for him. Mickey rushes to the airport with his whole family to stop and catch Tinny as she is about to board the plane. She tries to get Mickey to take her vows he took from her, and Mickey tricks her into marrying Mickey, which she accepts. The two are married and live happily as a family.
