Story:

Dhoom 3, styled as Dhoom: 3, is a Hindi action thriller film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra, who collaborated on the storyline. The ensemble cast features Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Uday Chopra, and Jackie Shroff.

Serving as the third installment in the Dhoom series and a sequel to “Dhoom” (2004) and “Dhoom 2” (2006), the film delves into the story of Sahir, a circus performer who orchestrates a bank heist in Chicago to avenge his father’s death. However, Inspector Jai and Ali grow suspicious of his involvement in the crime.

“Dhoom 3” premiered on December 20, 2013, receiving a mix of reviews from critics. Notably, it was the first Indian film released in IMAX format and Dolby Atmos surround sound, marking a technological milestone.

The film achieved unprecedented financial success, becoming the first Indian film to surpass ₹500 crore at the box office. It was also showcased at the 2014 International Film Festival of India in the section celebrating dance in Indian cinema.
