Chembil Ashokan

Biography:

An actor in the Malayalam film industry is Chembil Ashokan. He has acted in a number of Malayalam film roles, such as Money Ratnam (2014). Ashokan was Mammootty’s neighbor and hails from Chempu, which is close to Vaikom. His father passed away at a young age, leaving him to grow up in a household of five. Prior to being introduced to film sets by Mammootty’s brother Ibrahimkutty, he spent 22 years working in theater as a member of the Kalidasa Kalakendram theatrical troupe. After seeing his performance in Amrita TV’s 2008 series Aranazhikeneram, director Sathyan Anthikad approached him about a part in Bhagyadevatha (2009).
