American author Gregory Rucka was born on November 29, 1969. He is best known for his Atticus Kodiak novels, his creator-owned comic book series Whiteout, Queen & Country, Stumptown, and Lazarus, and his long tenures on DC Comics’ Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, and Gotham Central, and Marvel’s Elektra, Wolverine, and The Punisher. Infinite Crisis, New Krypton, and No Man’s Land are just a few of the DC Comics line-wide and inter-title crossovers for which he has contributed a significant amount of additional material. Rucka’s first screenplay was for the 2020 movie The Old Guard, which was adapted from his comic book series of the same name.
