Story:

Golmaal 3 is a Hindi action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and the third installment in the Golmaal franchise. The film features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Mithun Chakraborty, Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Johnny Lever. The plot draws inspiration from Basu Chatterjee’s 1978 film Khatta Meetha, which itself was based on the 1968 movie Yours, Mine and Ours.

Released on 4 November 2010, during Diwali, Golmaal 3 received mixed reviews. Critics praised the humor and performances but noted the repetitiveness of the jokes and storyline. Despite this, the film was a major success at the box office, becoming the fourth movie to join India’s 100 Crore Club and grossing approximately ₹167 crore worldwide. It was the second highest-grossing film in India in 2010, following Dabangg, and the third globally, after Dabangg and My Name Is Khan.

Golmaal 3 was later remade in Telugu as Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda in 2013. The series continued with a fourth film, Golmaal Again, released in 2017.
